AZUL Cup: Season 3
Season 3 saw a further increase in participating nations as Italy, Ireland, Netherlands and Sweden joined the competition, bringing the total nations to 26.
For the first time, China fielded a team that did not include Phosphate_ or CN_Azul.
Final result
Germany lifted the Azul Cup trophy for the first time with a clear lead over runners up China.
Germany team captain, Zeus, also achieved the highest number of wins on the competition to lift the Golden Tile.
Hong Kong achieved their highest ever finishing position, and Season 1 winners, the USA, were the first team not win a single game in the finals competition.
Finalists
Newcomers, Italy made the finals in their rookie season and the impressive Indian team made their first finals. For the first time in the competition the UK team failed to qualify.
